Viewing a Quote Comparison

Once you submit a quote, if you change the number of resources on the quote through a quote re-submittal, you can view the differences between what resources you submitted with your latest fully submitted quote and the resources you have selected for your current quote in progress.

NOTE:You will only see the Quote Comparison popup on a quote re-submittal, because there must be one fully submitted quote and then a quote in progress (re-submittal) in order to view the Quote Comparison.

To view a quote comparison during a quote re-submittal:

In the Quote a Solicitation wizard, click on the Review Quote step.
Click on the View Quote Comparison button. A Quote Comparison popup window appears.
View a comparison of the resources you previously submitted versus the resources that are in your current quote in progress. There may or may not be any changes between the two quotes, but for both the submitted quote and the quote in progress, the Quote Comparison will compare the following: Resource count, Resource Category, VIN/Unique ID/Serial Number, Equipment ID, Dispatch Center, and Rates.

Click the Continue button to proceed through the wizard.

Once you have fully submitted your quote in progress, it will override your previously submitted quote and will become the new quote on record in VIPR for you, but only if it is fully submitted.
